Primary function will be to incoming inspection of audio masters, audio encoding of master source material, optimization and quality control of final encoded bit streams.
Primary Job Duties
• Develop a thorough understanding of audio compression technologies such as Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM and encoding processes
• Operate audio compression hardware/software and peripheral equipment
• Review project specifications, calculate bit rates, check channel configuration, dynamic compression, dialnorm and set up compression parameters

The successful candidate will develop high performance and mixed signal devices for the communications market. You will work with marketing and systems architects to define new products.
