Job Location: Delhi NCR
The incumbent is responsible for architecture/design/development of WLAN drivers for ST-Ericsson’s WLAN products on Linux/Android based platforms.
The job involves
- Developing a good understanding the overall SW architecture
- Deep understanding of WLAN protocol
- Design/Development of WLAN MAC features
- Deep understanding & experience in low level drivers like SDIO and SPI
- Design/Development of embedded drivers on OS like Android, RTK, Nucleus, REX, WinMobile etc..
Technical Requirements:
- Expertise in C background is mandatory, experience in C++ is a plus
- Preferably 1-2 years experience in design/development of one or more connectivity protocol stacks (BT/FM/WLAN/UWB/USB)
- atleast 2 years experience in Linux at Kernel level and in Linux OS in general or equivalent experience in RTOSes
- In-depth experience in one or more embedded Operating Systems – Linux/Android, RTK, OSE, REX, WinMobile etc..
- knowledge of one or more wireless standards like BT, FM, GPS, NFC, RFID, 802.11, UWB, USB, is a big plus
- Familiar with software engineering processes/practices and experience in handling customers

B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science)
